HOF to offer 'VIP Experience' again

The legends and heroes of the national pastime call Cooperstown home. But for a few days this fall and next spring, fans can experience the Hall of Fame through an exclusive in-depth exploration.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s VIP Experience will resume with several dates through the fall, winter and  spring as the museum prepares for its 75th anniversary in 2014. Through the VIP Experience, fans can delve into the museum’s collections, archives and exhibits through a two-day program.

Beginning in October and running through May, visitors can plan a unique trip to Cooperstown with nine opportunities to take an up-close and in-depth look at baseball’s cathedral. Each VIP Experience event provides a behind-the-curtain and personal look at the Hall of Fame and its collections, through a package available only through participating Cooperstown accommodations.

Dates for upcoming VIP Experiences include: Oct. 3-4, Oct. 31-Nov. 1, Dec. 5-6, Feb. 20-21, March 13-14, March 27-28, April 3-4, April 24-25, May 8-9.

The two-day event includes a sustaining membership ($100 value), exclusive after-hours access to the museum, a library archive tour, a museum collections artifact presentation and a private reception.

VIP Experience packages are only available for purchase through select Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce accommodations.

For a complete list of local accommodations, visit www.baseballhall.org/VIPExperience or contact the membership department at 547-0397 or membership@baseballhall.org.
