The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will host its annual World Series Weekend, May 7-8.
The Hall of Fame willhonor the 2010 San Francisco Giants with two days of programming and special events highlighting the franchise’s first World Championship in San Francisco, featuring a special appearance of the Giants World Series trophy.
According to a Hall of Fame media release, museum visitors will have the chance to relive the 2010 season and create new memories at the home of baseball, where artifacts of the Giants’ world title will be forever preserved.
Many of those artifacts are on display in the museum’s exhibit “Autumn Glory,” which celebrates each season’s playoff and World Series teams.
Programs that will be offered both May 7 and 8 at the museum include:
• Special Giants-related tour through the museumoffered both days at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• Giants trivia in the Bullpen Theater, with games for all ages at noon.
• Special artifacts spotlight presentations featuring artifacts from Giants history at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
• Public display of the 2010 World Champions trophy in the museum daily during all museum hours.
All programs are included with regular museum admission.
The museum will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days.
