Staff Report
Applications for parking
permits for the Chestnut
Street lot will be available
from the village clerk’s office
beginning today.
Village Clerk Teri Barown
said this week that her office
will begin processing applications
for the permits,
which are available to the
general public for $10, on
May 1.
She said applicants must
apply in person and have the
registration for the vehicle.
Permits will be mailed to applicants
as specified in the
law.
The permit stickers have
been ordered, Barown said,
and are expected to arrive
May 10.
The adhesive stickers are
to be displayed on the inside
of the driver’s side rear window.
The permits are for the
Chestnut Street lot only and
not for the Doubleday Field
lot, which is to convert from
free to paid parking for the
months of June, July and
August.
From June 1 through Labor
Day, the Chestnut Street
lot will be permit parking
only from the hours of 6 a.m.
to 2 a.m. There is no overnight
parking in the lot.

clerk’s office at 547-2411.
