Chobani picks Cider Mill's pumpkin butter for topping

Chobani SoHo, Chobani Yogurt’s Mediterranean yogurt bar, has chosen Fly Creek Cider Mill Pumpkin Butter as the featured topping for an autumn promotion of their Greek-style yogurt, according to a media release from the cider mill. 

The SoHo store concept is Chobani’s first retail outlet developed by Founder and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya to create dishes reflecting the various ways he enjoyed yogurt growing up in Turkey, according to the release. 

Menu choices include toppings such as fig and walnut, pistachio and dark chocolate, or cucumber and olive oil all served in a glass dish to be taken home.

Brenda and Bill Michaels, owners of the Fly Creek Cider Mill & Orchard, personally delivered their first shipment of pumpkin butter to the store located at 150 Prince Street in SoHo.

“We are honored to be selected as an ingredient in Chobani’s fall promotion,” Brenda Michaels said in the release. “To be picked by a category leader like Chobani is truly humbling and very rewarding.”
