---- — The Crayon Carnival and Stroll of Nations will bring inflatable bounce houses, slides and games, carnival games, food and more to the Cooperstown Middle/High School from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16. The carnival will again feature the Stroll of Nations, where kids can “visit” different countries through music, games, displays, dance and other activities.
This family event, sponsored by the Cooperstown Parent Teacher Association, has been part of the community for 32 years. All proceeds from this event benefit the students of Cooperstown Central School. With community and business support, the PTA is able to fund field trips, reading programs, cultural performances, summer music lessons, academic awards, and enrichment programs. The PTA also purchases new books and resources for the school libraries, and supports Mr. Science, KidGarden, TREP$, Red Hot Ropers, Parents as Reading Partners, and book fairs.
The Cooperstown PTA is seeking underwriters and sponsors for the Crayon Carnival & Stroll of Nations, as well as donations for the basket raffle and silent auction.
