Patricia Szarpa, executive director of the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce since April 2012, resigned Tuesday, effective immediately.
“I thank the Cooperstown Chamber members and Board of Directors for their support during my tenure. I am now looking forward to pursuing new opportunities,” Szarpa said in a news release.
“The board thanks Patricia for her service and we look forward to continued success for the Chamber and will begin a search for a new executive director immediately, said Chamber President Ken Meifert in the same release. “The Board has a plan in place to ensure that the Chamber operations continue to be fully supported through the busy summer season.”
