Pathfinder Village will host its 16th annual concert series, featuring live performances by local talent, in July and August at no charge to the public.
Pathfinder Village is a nonprofit, planned community devoted to supporting adults and children who have Down syndrome and other disabilities.
The concerts, which are held at 7 p.m. Saturdays, will be as follows:
July 20: The Saints Jazz Quintet plus One, a group of seniors from the Cooperstown/Richfield area, will present a danceable concert of jazz, blues, Dixieland, Latin and rock.
July 27: Plan B, a trio from Otsego County, will play a broad spectrum of genres, including classic country, bluegrass, folk, rock and old-time traditional tunes.
Aug. 3: The Sidney Community Band will bring its repertoire of popular music, marches and favorite show tunes.
Aug. 10: Stone Soup, a band from the Mohawk Valley, plays a variety of acoustic music from blues to bluegrass, folk to jazz. The band features Joe Sinchak, Pete Liljeberg, Nick Frirsz, and Suzanne and David Bladek.
Aug. 17: Blues Maneuver will perform repertoire of swing, blues, R&B and oldies. According to a media release, “these guys can play it all!”
