---- — Brewery Ommegang has announced two performances in July.
Grace Potter & The Nocturnals are scheduled to bring their signature style of power blues-rock to the brewery on Thursday, July 25 and The Black Crowes are set to bring sensual blues-rock the following night. Both shows will start at 7 p.m. and gates will open at 5 p.m.
According to a media release, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals have been burning up the music scene with sold-out concerts across the country. The group has made guest appearances on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno,” “Late Show” with David Letterman and Conan. Fresh from the studio after recording their latest album, “The Lion The Beast The Beat,” the band embarked on a tour with Kenny Chesney and sold out a two-day festival.
According to the release, the show is appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $35 in advance and $20 on the day of the performance. Camping is available for $10 in advance and $20 on the day of the show.
Lead by brothers, Chris and Rich Robinson, The Black Crowes gained international acclaim with the release of its debut album, “Shake Your Money Maker,” which went on to sell more than three million copies world wide. The group refined its sound in the early 90’s releasing “The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion” with “By Your Side” and “Lions” to follow in the coming years. Since their reformation in 2005, The Black Crowes released “Warpaint” and then the double-record “Before the Frost… Until the Freeze.” Some of the bands better known songs are “Hard to Handle,” “She Talks to Angels” and “Wiser Time.”
According to the release, The Black Crowes’ performance is appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 on the day of the show. Camping is available for $10 in advance or $20 on the day of the show.
