The Cooperstown Lakefront Concert Series will continue its ninth season in scenic Lakefront Park with a performance from the Cooperstown Community Band.
The concert series includes family-oriented concerts that are showcased on the historic bandstand at 7 p.m. Tuesdays in July and August. People are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, blanket and dancing shoes. There is no charge for admission.
The remaining concert schedule of events includes:
Aug. 6: Cooperstown Community Band, celebrating its 152nd anniversary performing patriotic marches, Broadway show tunes and other favorites.
Aug. 13: The Saints Jazz Quintet Plus One, with an eclectic mix of jazz standards, Dixieland, blues and Latin music along with vocals.
Aug. 20: Flame, changing the world through music, these musicians who happen to have disabilities, connects with all ages.
Aug. 27: The Donny Brooks, a mix of traditional and modern Celtic music with an emphasis on high energy, Celtic rock.
