---- — The Village Library of Cooperstown will hold special Saturday programs for children and their families. The Saturday Family Story Programs will feature stories, crafts and more for families with preschool- and elementary-age children. These free programs, sponsored by the Friends of the Village Library, begin at 10:30 a.m. and are held in the Village Library Building at 22 Main St.
On Nov. 17, Vivienne Clark will help participants get ready for Thanksgiving with stories and a craft. About one hour long, the program will be held in the ballroom on the top floor of the Village Library Building.
On Dec.15, Holiday stories and traditions will be shared, and children and their families will also be able to make a holiday craft. The one-our program will also be held in the ballroom.

The Friends of the Village Library also sponsors Sunday afternoon programs for adults, which are held in the Village Meeting Room in the Village Library Building. Schedules of the programs for 2012-13 can be picked up at the library, or for information call 547-8199.
