Best-selling author and internship guru Lauren Berger will present “Everything Internships with the Intern Queen” at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the Hunt College Union Ballroom at the State University College at Oneonta.
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be followed by a question-and-answer session and book signing.
The founder and chief executive officer of Intern Queen Inc., an online internship destination that helps students find and apply for internships, Berger is the author of the best-selling guide “All Work, No Pay: Finding an Internship, Building Your Resume, Making Connections, and Gaining Job Experience” (Random House, 2012).
During her talk, Berger will share insider secrets for making the most of internship opportunities, culled from personal experience managing 15 internships during her four years of college and from the partnerships she has developed with more than 500 employers across the United States and in Canada, according to a media release.
Berger’s appearance was arranged through The Guild Agency Speakers Bureau.
