Wyatt Crowley scored a game-high 20 points to lead host Cherry Valley-Springfield to a victory in the Tri-Valley League.

The Patriots trailed, 24-21, at halftime, but outscored the Dragons, 32-13, in the second half to earn their first league win of the season.

‘‘We finally found the net in the second half,’’ CV-S coach Terry Brant said.

Dustin Collins contributed 15 points and a team-best 12 rebounds for Cherry-Valley Springfield (2-3, 1-2), which visits Edmeston next Friday.

Corey Roseboom and Tyler Comino shared team-bests of nine points for Schenevus.

Park Summers contributed 14 points and Grant Davine finished with seven for the Hawkeyes.

“We turned the ball over at the end and didn’t get great shots in the fourth quarter,” Cooperstown coach Dave Bertram said.
