Jordan Loucks and Lauren Loucks had two goals apiece in Cherry Valley-Springfield’s non-league win at home.
Jordan Loucks scored 11 minutes into play off an assist from Sarah Russo.
Emily McDermott also scored for the Patriots (5-1), who host Franklin on Tuesday in a key Tri-Valley League game.
Kylie Graham made 10 saves for CV-S, including a penalty kick in the second half.
Milford 1, Margaretville 0
Freshman striker Addy Lawson scored with 11 minutes left, leading Milford to a 1-0 victory over Margaretville in a non-league game at the Wright National Soccer Campus in Oneonta.
Lawson ran onto Kiera Higgins’ throughball from the right side for a one-on-one with Margaretville goalie Alexis Molnar. Molnar finished with 12 saves, three more than winning goalie Rukiye Henderson.
Waterville 2, CCS
Noelle Palmatier scored for the Redskins in a Center State Conference road loss.
Palmatier tied the score with 1:18 left in the first half, converting a throughball from Jordian Siver inside the box.
Alexis Stetson broke the tie with 13 minutes left off of a corner kick.
Katie Kleban stopped 10 shots for Cooperstown.
CV-S 5, G-MU 0
Olivia Preston and Lauren Loucks had two first-half goals apiece as Cherry Valley-Springfield cruised to a Tri-Valley League road victory.
Jordan Loucks contributed a goal and an assist for the Patriots, who received 13 saves from Kylie Graham.
Cooperstown 10, Waterville 0
Michael Rowley, The Daily Star’s reigning Player of the Year, scored three times in the first 20 minutes and finished with four goals in leading the Redskins to a Center State Conference victory.
Ethan Bliss, Liam Heneghan, Park Summers, Max Clinton and Matt Frevele also scored for the Redskins. Heneghan also had three assists and Tanner Clinton contributed two assists for Cooperstown.
Milford 4, Franklin 3
Peyton Griffiths had two goals and an assist to lead host Milford to a 4-2 Tri-Valley League boys soccer victory over Franklin.
Michael Strenck finished with a goal and an assist for the Wildcats, who took a 3-0 lead into halftime.
“They came out in the second half and put a lot of pressure on us,” Milford coach Frank Spurchise said. “It was a very, very competitive game, and Franklin came out on fire in the second half.”
Alex Brownell scored on a penalty kick (handball inside the box) before Derek Beers pulled the Purple to 3-2 with an unassisted goal.
“Those two kids are going to earn them some wins,” said Spurchise, who credited sophomore central defender Jacob Tabor for helping to limit Brownell’s opportunities. “They’re tough.”
Eli Coley converted a pass from Griffiths with about six minutes left for the final margin.
