Townie Zaengle and Jake Spencer each contributed second-half goals to lead host Cherry Valley-Springfield to their sixth straight victory in the Tri-Valley League.

Kurt Pressley, Dustin Collins and Ryan Jaquay scored in the first half to give the Patriots a 3-0 cushion.

Zach Schinski and Cody White combined for 24 saves for Laurens.

Michael Strenck scored goals four minutes apart in the first half as visiting Milford won in the Tri-Valley League.

Strenck opened the scoring 17 minutes before halftime. Peyton Griffiths sent a crossing pass that Strenck headed inside the far post.

“That was a nice header,” Edmeston coach Ken Plows said.

Strenck’s second goal came off a scramble in front of the net.

Edmeston held an 8-4 advantage in shots. Max Lang made eight saves for the Wildcats.

“The trouble right now for my boys is we’re getting shots off, but we’re not able to finish,” Plows said.
