The Red Dragons held a pitchers/catchers clinic Sunday, Jan. 27, and will hold a hitting/defense clinic Feb. 3. Registration will run from 11:15 a.m. to noon, followed by the clinic from noon to 3 p.m.

Cost is $35. The clinics are designed for high school players who will graduate between 2013-2016.

Cooperstown seeking nominations

Cooperstown Central is accepting nominations for its Athletics Hall of Fame, which will induct its Class of 2013 in the fall.

Nominations are due by Feb. 18.

CSC accepting Futsal registrations

The Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown is taking registration for its Individual Winter/Spring Futsal League, which will run Sunday nights.

Cost is $60 for non-members and $25 for members. Players must be at least age 18 and out of high school.

Fall/winter futsal season wrap up

The Clark Sports Center wrapped up its last night of the fall/winter futsal season Sunday.

In game 1 it was El Nino over Nemesis 11-4. Hisham Abdallah had 3 goals in the win.

In game 2 it was New York Central Mutual over Some Knees 11-2. Mike Cook had 5 goals in the win. 

In game 3 it was Nicolettas over Unchained 2-1. Mark Andrews had a goals in the win.

In game 4 it was Coop United over Timberworks 11-2. Chad Welch had 3 goals in the win.

El Nino was the winner of the league by 1 point over Nicolettas who finished second.

Johhny Fernedez was the top male scorer while Cheryl Robinson was the top female scorer.
