Battle of undefeated teams is up next for Milford

Wildcats host Edmeston Friday

Fourteen of Peyton Griffiths’ game-high 19 points came as visiting Milford built a 32-12 halftime advantage en route to a Tri-Valley League victory.

Paul Van Warner finished with 11 points, including three of the Wildcats’ nine three-pointers.

Milford’s defense also forced 32 turnovers.

“They’re good,” Worcester coach Jim Kenyon said of Milford. “It’s going to be a good battle Friday night between Milford and Edmeston. That should be a pretty good game.”

Milford (11-0, 7-0) will host Edmeston (11-0, 7-0) on Friday in a battle of Tri-Valley League unbeatens.

Jacob Grover had six points for Worcester (6-5, 5-2), which will host Gilbertsville-Mount Upton on Wednesday.
