Milford Booster Club dinner set

The second annual Milford Booster Club chicken and biscuit dinner will be held 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, in the district’s cafeteria. The meal will includes chicken with gravy, biscuit, mashed potatoes, roll, cranberry sauce, carrots with brown sugar sauce and drinks.

A single meal is $7 or all-you-can-eat is $9. The cost for children ages 6 to 12 is $5, and children 5 and younger may eat for free. Takeouts will be available. A bake sale, silent auction and 50-50 raffle will also take place with the dinner. Leave a message for reservations at 286-7212. Purchase a ticket from a MCS athlete or pay at the door.

Volleyball results

The following are the volleyball scores from Jan. 29 at the Clark Sports Center:

Game one on court one was the Gym Team over the Shockers, 2-1.

Game two on court one was Bonzai over McCarthy Builders, 3-0.

Game three on court one was Lights Out over Cooperstown Bat Company, 3-0.

Game one on court two was The Jungles Ballers over Loose Cannon, 3-0.

Game two on court two was the Ommegangsters over McManus Engineering, 3-0.

 Slowbreak results

The following are the slowbreak scores from Jan. 29 at the Clark Sports Center:

Game one was New York Central Mutual over Five Star Subaru, 34-24. Brad Feik and Frank Koren combined for 26 points in the win while Bob Barraco had 12 points in the loss.

Game two was State Farm over A.B.M. Fire Equipment 72-36. Jason Schiellack and Brenton Seamon combined for 46 points in the win while Dave Kent had 11 points in the loss.

Game three was Church and Scott over Leatherstocking Insurance 42-34. Dave Bliss had 17 points in the win while Phil Lewis had 13 points in the loss.

Game four was Milford over Royal Chrysler 50-34. Gabe Lane had 14 points in the win while Willis Monie Jr. had nine points in the loss.
