CCS girls soccer off to strong start

“We just really want to move the ball around and communicate. You can really never get enough of that. Communication is just so important in this game,” she added.

Cooperstown finished the game against Edmeston with a 16-7 advantage in shots. In addition to Millea’s four goals, Siver also scored for the team.

Against Mount Markham, Hall scored twice for Cooperstown, which took a 1-0 lead about six minutes into the game. Her first came minutes after Millea’s goal. Forward Hannah Barrett scored for Mount Markham near the end of the second half.

Cooperstown was scheduled to play Little Falls on Wednesday after deadline.
