Cooperstown Central School is accepting nominations for the Athletics Hall of Fame for the fall induction Class of 2013.

Nomination forms can be found at www.cooperstowncs.org and going to the athletics webpage and clicking on CCS Athletics Hall of Fame. The deadline for nomination form is Feb. 15. 

Completed nomination forms can be sent to Monica Wolfe, athletic director, or turned in at the Cooperstown Middle/High School main office.

 

Sports Center to

show ‘Home Alone’

The Clark Sports Center will host a movie night on Saturday, Dec. 22. The movie “Home Alone” (1990, 103mins, rated PG) will be shown in the gym. It is scheduled to start promptly at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free. 

Non-members must have a signed waiver on file at the center. Viewers are welcome to bring snacks and beverages. No alcoholic beverages will be allowed. Youths younger than 18 must have a parent sign in and leave an emergency contact number. Children younger than 10 must have a parent with them. No chairs should be brought into the gym. The bleachers will be available.

Sports Center closures an

The Sports Center will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25. It will reopen at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26. The facility will also be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 and reopen at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
