Event: Harvest dinner and Chinese auction, 4 to 7 p.m., Cherry Valley Firehouse, Railroad Avenue. Presented by the Cherry Valley United Methodist Church.

Bottle Drive: Cooperstown Boy Scout troop 1254 will have a bottle drive beginning at 9 a.m. Returnables may be placed on the curb, sidewalk, or porch steps visible from the street. Special pick up for larger quantities can be arranged by calling 547-1310.



Sunday, Sept. 9

Classes: Yoga Aid Day celebrated at in Milford with a variety of Yoga and meditation classes between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Upper Susquehanna Cultural Center on Route 28. The public is invited.
