Thursday, Sept. 13

Meeting: Bassett will host a free meeting about changes to Medicare, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., large community room at FoxCare Center, 1 FoxCare Drive, Oneonta. Light refreshments will be served. For info: 547-3640

Event: Rotary Club annual AppleFest, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Fly Creek Cider Mill, Goose St.

Fundraiser: SSPCA dog bath and nail trim, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., SSPCA shelter,4841 State Highway 28, Hartwick Seminary. For reservations: 547-8111.

Sunday, Sept. 16

Presentation: ‘Low Tech Stories for High Tech Times,’ 2 p.m. Village Library meeting room, 22 Main St., Cooperstown. Presented by The Friends of the Village Library.

Event: Rotary Club annual AppleFest, noon to 5 p.m., Fly Creek Cider Mill, Goose St.

Meal: Breakfast buffet,7 to 11 a.m., Milford Post 1566 American Legion.

Fundraiser: Car wash to benefit Cooperstown football, noon to 4 p.m., Reis Moving and Storage. Donations for food bank will also be taken.

Opening Exhibit: Panoramic Oneonta, 1 to 3 p.m., Greater Oneonta Historical Society History Center, 183 Main St.
