COOPERSTOWN — Clark Foundation President Jane Forbes Clark, announced that the Board of Directors has approved first-year college scholarship grants to 188 students, totaling $740,700.
Ethan Freer, son of Russell and Melinda Freer, is valedictorian of the class of 2020 at Milford Central School. Freer was a member of the National Honor Society and is a Clark Scholarship recipient. He participated in Environmental Club, Student Government, Spanish Club and school musicals.
Cooperstown Central School senior Ellie Pink was chosen to be the fifth recipient of the Julia Alexandra Levandowski-Klix Memorial Award. She joins previous recipients Elizabeth Olmstead, Maria Noto, Mary Iversen and Nicole Lionetti.
COOPERSTOWN — The Cooperstown Food Pantry will extend its availability beyond Mondays and Wednesdays and be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays starting Friday, May 15. The food pantry at 25 Church St. in Cooperstown serves people in northern Otsego County.
