There will be several meals served Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5:
The Cooperstown Rotary Club will host its annual Election Day Pancake Feast with pancakes and sausage with real maple syrup, apple cider, applesauce and coffee from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m and 4 to 7 p.m. at the Veterans Club at 60 Main St. in Cooperstown.
Takeouts will be available. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Proceeds will support local and international organizations. Call 607-282-0707 for more information.
An Election Day supper will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Social Hall of Jordanville Federated Church of Christ at 209 Main St. in Jordanville.
Roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, carrots, French kraut, pickled beets, rolls, quick breads and homemade pies will be served.
The cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children younger than 12. Children younger than 5 may eat for free. Takeouts will be available for an additional 50 cents.
The American Legion Auxiliary will sponsor an Election Day roast turkey dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the American Legion at 11 Main St. in Laurens.
The menu will include roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, a vegetable, rolls, hot and cold beverages and apple or pumpkin pie. The cost will be $10 for adults and $6 for children younger than 5. The building is handicapped-accessible.
Proceeds will benefit the Auxiliary’s Girls State program.
