The Fenimore Quilt Club will be “calling all quilts” for one-day only Saturday at the Cooperstown Art Association at 22 Main St. The registration is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“At this time of year, we all need some splashes of color,” said club member Jean Lyon. The quilts will be on display from Feb. 8 to 23.

Quilts and wall hangings must have a 6” sleeve or other method for hanging. The exception is for antique quilts which can’t be hung. Insurance coverage is the responsibility of the owner. Quilt makers wishing to sell their work may get information during registration.

”Our quilt show always brings big groups of people from far distances,” said Janet G. Erway, director of the Cooperstown Art Association. “Most quilt shows are over a weekend, but this one takes place over two weeks. Everyone has a chance to get to us, even if we have a couple days of typically bad winter weather.”
